MUSIC MINISTER FAREWELL
Music Minister Jennifer Keeley tendered her resignation Sunday, and her husband Stephen Keeley has stepped down from the Board. The Keeleys wish to extend their sincere thanks to the family of St. John’s for the time they spent with the congregation and to the many friends they made while here. We deeply appreciate their service to St. John’s and ask God’s blessing and favor on all their future endeavors.

We will be assembling holiday gift bags for our shut-in members and wrap Christmas presents for our community friends who sleep in the Nest homeless shelter. All women and friends are invited.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN OUR BIBLE STUDY GROUP!
All members and friends are invited to join in our Bible Study group which meets each Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. We are just starting a new booklet in the Bible Study for Life series. Each session is a different topic so it’s easy to join in at any time. If you have questions, please talk to some of our members –– Ernie Dingler, Dolores Van Ulzen, or Karen Lawrenz. We have chairs and booklets waiting for you!
ALL–CONGREGATION AND BOARD MEETING MINUTES
The Minutes from last Sunday’s All-Congregational meeting, together with the most recent Board meeting Minutes, are posted on the bulletin board outside the office. Minutes from Board and All-Congregational meetings will be posted on the bulletin board for your convenience.
COFFEE HOUR—IN NARTHEX BEFORE THE 10 AM SERVICE
Please join us in the narthex before the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service for Coffee Hour. Coffee and pastries will be available, together with good fellowship. Plan to enjoy some delightful treats and good conversation before we worship together!
PEANUT BRITTLE, ANYONE?
Join our Guild project by making peanut brittle, selling peanut brittle, or simply buying and enjoying it for yourself! All together we can contribute to agencies in our community which serve others. We can make a difference right here in Michigan City! St. John’s is again offering its famous peanut brittle at $10.50/lb. and just in time for Thanksgiving!
We will be accepting orders for our work dates of Mondays, November 10th & 17th, and Mondays, December 8th and 15th. Orders can be placed in the church office. Tell your family & friends all profits from the sale will be donated to community agencies or to St. John’s projects. If you would like to be a part of our team, a sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board outside the office, or you may talk with Kimberlee Russell.
THANKS FOR A GREAT START!
Thank you, St. John’s friends and members, for funding 15 children’s coats, hats, gloves plus some diapers and shirts so far! Our “FOR THE CHILDREN” project is still seeking donations –– no donation or financial contribution is too small. We do know that the Salvation Army is expecting even more requests for help this year for their Christmas giveaway for families, and we want to help as much as possible. We are asking you to help us to help them so children in our town are treated well at Christmas. Thank you from the Women’s Guild!
2026 GREETERS NEEDED
We need YOUR presence and your smiling face to help make our Sunday visitors feel welcome! Please add your name to the list of Greeters on the bulletin board so that we can keep the wonderful tradition of Sunday Greeters alive at St. John’s.
