MARCH — RED CROSS MONTH – GIVING DAY IS MARCH 25TH
We are important to the work of Red Cross. Every day our donations of time, money, and blood support its crucial services. Red Cross collects blood every day from donors to ensure a safe supply of blood when it’s needed. A pint of donor’s blood can benefit up to three people. A monetary support can bring urgent relief and hope. For $19, a hot meal, snack, beverage, warm blanket, and comfort kit filled with necessities for someone impacted by a disaster can be provided for one person.

LENTEN PRAYER IN CHAPEL – “PRAY-AS-YOU-GO TIME” – MON. & THURS.
On Mondays (March 23, and 30) and Thursdays (March 26, and April 2) of Lent, Minister Carr will lead “Pray-As-You-Go-Time,” featuring prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to noon. in the Chapel. Please see Minister Bruce Carr for details.

PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION, 2026 – 2027 SCHOOL YEAR OPENING MARCH 1, 2026
St. John’s Preschool will begin open enrollment on March 1, 2026 for the 2026 – 2027 school year. Enrollment forms and information packets are available in the church office beginning March 1st.
CELEBRATING 170 YEARS IN MAY!
As we will be celebrating our 170th year this coming May, we are looking for any slides or photos from St. John’s Church happenings from either our 9th & Franklin Street facility or our present-day building. Please contact Jean at (219) 778-4789 if you have any to share!
