WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING
Mark your calendars for the Wednesday, August 20th Guild meeting at 12:30 p.m. CST. First, we’ll enjoy a free lunch together, and then we will work on a church service project. We will clean and disinfect areas and materials for the Preschool, getting everything ready for the new school year. All women are invited to join us.
MCCU (MICHIGAN CITY CHURCHES UNITED) PICNIC
The MCCU Picnic will be on Sunday, August 24th, at 1:00 p.m. CST, at Creek Ridge Park, Novak Pavilion. Hot dogs and hamburgers and all the fixin’s, along with bottled water, will be provided. Please bring your lawn chairs (even though there is quite a bit of seating under the pavilion) and a dish to share!
NEW EDITION FELLOWSHIP PAINT PARTY –– YOU’RE INVITED!
We are holding a Bible-themed paint party on Friday, September 5th, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. CST in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $25 per person if you register by August 1st and $30 thereafter. “JOYFUL SOUNDS” CHOIR INVITATION

BLOOD DRIVE
The next Red Cross blood drive here at St. John’s will be Tuesday, June 3rd, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. CST. Please call 1-800-RED CROSS (800-733-2767) to schedule your blood donation. Thank you very much for generously helping those in need.
“JAM” (JESUS AND ME) YOUTH
Any child (ages 4-10) in La Porte County is welcome to attend our JAM (“Jesus and Me”) Sunday School program. Attendance is flexible and parents do not have to be members of the church. Meet in the school hallway from 8:20 – 9:30 a.m. CST on any Sunday of the year. Children enjoy Bible lessons, songs, crafts, activities, and snacks.
