The proposed Budget for 2026 was mailed out earlier this week for your review. There are also copies available in the office if you did not receive your copy.

The 2025 Giving Statements and 2026 Giving Envelopes are out by the office entrance. Please note, your giving number may have changed. If you would like a box, please contact Nicole (219) 872–9121.
2026 PLEDGE CARDS AVAILABLE – IN NARTHEX
Pledge cards for 2026 will be located on the table in the narthex for those who would like to pledge for the year 2026.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN OUR BIBLE STUDY GROUP
All members and friends are invited to join in our Bible Study group which meets each Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. If you have questions, please talk to some of our members–Ernie Dingler, Dolores Van Ulzen, or Karen Lawrenz. We have chairs and booklets waiting for you!
CHURCH CLOSING/WEATHER WATCH TEAM
Our “Weather Watch Team” will make the decision to cancel Sunday service in case of inclement weather. Those on the Team include Les Ast, Kent Lange, and Larry Sadenwater. They will determine if conditions exist that would make travel hazardous enough to cancel 10:00 a.m. service. The decision will be made no later than 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Closings will be posted on our church Facebook and on our website. Of course, please do not venture out if you feel conditions will compromise your safety! Services are live streamed on Facebook.
UNITED CHURCH FOUNDATION ENDOWMENT FUND
The Endowment Fund was started in the 4th quarter (Oct.-Nov.-Dec.,1997) with an investment of $1,500. Only interest earned from this Fund may be used for the church expenses. The principal remains invested in the Fund.

We need YOUR presence and your smiling face to help make our Sunday visitors feel welcome! Please add your name to the list of Greeters/Ushers on the bulletin board so that we can keep the wonderful tradition of Sunday Greeters/Ushers alive at St. John’s.
