MEALS ON WHEELS––HELP NEEDED!
Please consider joining the St. John’s Meals on Wheels team! We are in need of several reliable people to volunteer to deliver meals to those who are unable to provide for themselves. We need both drivers and runners (people who take the meals to the door). The schedule is every two months from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon. If you are able to help in this rewarding and worthwhile activity, please contact Dale at (219) 872–5904 or at church on Sundays after the service.

YOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN OUR BIBLE STUDY GROUP (Classes Resume Wed., January 14)
All members and friends are invited to join in our Bible Study group which meets each Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. We are just starting a new booklet in the Bible Study for Life series. If you have questions, please talk to our members Ernie Dingler, Dolores Van Ulzen, or Karen Lawrenz. We have chairs and booklets waiting for you!
CHURCH CLOSING/WEATHER WATCH TEAM
Our “Weather Watch Team” will make the decision to cancel Sunday service in case of inclement weather. Those on the Team include Les Ast, Kent Lange, and Larry Sadenwater. They will determine if conditions exist that would make travel hazardous enough to cancel 10:00 a.m. service. The decision will be made no later than 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Closings will be posted on our church Facebook and on our website. Of course, please do not venture out if you feel conditions will compromise your safety! Services are live streamed on Facebook.
MUSICIANS NEEDED!!
Do YOU or someone you know play piano, organ or guitar and would like to help provide joyful and engaging music for our Worship services? We are in need of guest musicians in January and beyond! GREETERS/USHERS NEEDED
We need YOUR presence and your smiling face to help make our Sunday visitors feel welcome! Please add your name to the list of Greeters/Ushers on the bulletin board so that we can keep the wonderful tradition of Sunday Greeters/Ushers alive at St. John’s.
