CAN YOU HELP?

The Women’s Guild has received a letter from our local Salvation Army stating an urgent need and asking if we could contribute any financial assistance before October.  They are seeing a 60% increase in the number of citizens they are serving compared to a few years ago.  The Guild will be sending our contribution and wanted the congregation to be aware of this need also.  (Their letter is posted on the bulletin board.

BLESSING BAGS

We are still in need of items for our Blessing Bags––bars of soap, deodorant, toothpaste, socks. This collection will conclude about the first of September.  Some of these completed bags will go to the Salvation Army. Thank you for your support and prayers to these initiatives.
