OCTOBER GUILD MEETING

Women and friends of St. John’s are invited to attend the October Guild meeting on Wednesday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m. Enter by the back kitchen door. After our short meeting with devotions and our prayer chain, our program for the day is making polar fleece blanket throws for giving.  If you have sewing scissors (ones that cut fabric), please bring a pair to the meeting.

PEANUT BRITTLE –– VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Come and join us for Peanut Brittle days! It’s the perfect combo of work and fun. The proceeds from sales go to our Community Mission outreach. Work dates are November 9^th and 16^th, and December 7^th and 14^th. Women and men are both needed—experienced help and newcomers are welcome!

A thank you goes to members and friends of St. John’s for your generosity in the Guild’s Blessing Bag project. As these bags are blessed consider it also a thank you to you!

UPCOMING HOLLY’S GIVE BACK – TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20TH

We had a good representation for our last month’s “Give Back.” Let’s continue the support at Holly’s on Tuesday, October 20^th from 11:00 – 8:00 p.m., use your coupons on dine-in or carry-out food and drinks. Coupons are available on the main bulletin board and on the narthex table.

Additionally, a gift card form is on the narthex table if you aren’t able to attend or need gift cards for the holidays. We will again receive 20% back.

Holly’s will accept showing the coupon in hand or on your phone, but not verbally.

PRESCHOOL NEEDS

St. John’s Preschool will need the following supplies, and would greatly appreciate any donations. Supplies needed are:

• napkins
• 5 oz. cups
• hand wipes
• table wipes
• tissues
• paper towels
• copy paper
• liquid hand soap
• colored copy paper.
